Our Community garden is one of two local community gardens that is involved in Food From Home’s Seed Library Project. This will see our garden have the opportunity to create a great bank of seeds for local community gardeners to use for years to come. Stay tuned for seed swap dates. This is a time you can come up to the garden and swap seeds or even seedlings so you have a range of flowers and produce growing in your garden.

Boomerang Bags is a community initiative where volunteers make reusable bags from recycled fabric and provide them to the community as a sustainable alternative to plastic bags. Help make bags at the fortnightly sew-ing bees. Tasks include cutting materials, ironing, screen printing and sewing. All ages welcome and no experience required. Free event. No bookings need-ed. Data is everywhere. We expect it on our computers and in science labs, but it’s also in things like the food we eat, the websites we surf, and the cars we drive. We use it at work, school, or even just scrolling through YouTube. Data is useful; it informs important decisions.

The Deaf Hub in collaboration with Deaf Victoria, Casey Deaf Club, En-deavour Hills Neighbourhood Centre and Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre brings the deaf and hard of hearing back together through offering various sport, recreation, community and social development programs and will provide a ‘return to community’ initiative.
